How sensitive are clams to trama?

I just got home after being out of town for a week. I found my clam laying on it's side in the sand. I have no idea what happened, but it must have fallen off of the rock it was on.
Anyway, the clam is still alive, but it does have a little damage. Can it survive this? I don't know how long it had been there. Is there anything I can do for it?
The clam is about a year old. The water tested fine and all of the other tank inhabitants are accounted for and healthy.

Well, sadly the clam is not fine. It "fell" off the rock again this afternoon and I caught my yellow wrasse eating it's foot. Could the wrasse be the one to blame, or do you think it is just eating it because it fell? The two have lived together for a year with no problems.
