how to arrange lighting

I am buying 6X250w DE HQI for my 180g (72x24x24) I am going to get 3 10k and 3 20k
should i arrange horizontally with the first light being 10k and the second being 20k or should i do it vertically with alternating (these are all being reflected by the PFO mini pendents)

which do you think????

Six 250W DE pendants on a 24" wide tank?!?
That seems like a little bit of overkill to me, but if I were in your shoes, I would go with one less 20,000K fixture and stagger them like they are in the pic below.
I'm fairly certain why you are planning for six pendants (smaller coverage with DE bulbs, great SPS coloration under 20,000K DE bulbs), but I'm curious why so many over a 24" wide tank?

Whoops! Forgot the pic. By the way, this is a top-down orientation and the 10,000K pendants line the front of the tank.
