So I got my tank up and running finally. I have a 130 gal acrylic with a built-in overflow and a predrilled drain and two predrilled returns at the bottom of the tank's overflow box. The drain has a Durso pipe.
When I shut down the wet dry to simulate a power outage, the 2 returns will act like two siphons that suck water down into the wet dry like there's no tomorrow. The drain works perfectly since the height of the tube limits the amount of water that will drain into the wet dry, but what do I do about the returns? We're talking a good 10-15 gallons that will overflow out of the wet dry should the power go out. Wifey will not like that!
