Hey guys I may be asking a question that has already been asked, forgive me but I do not visit here as much as I used to and well I need some assistance as i know nothing about this type of thing and I was told that it would be benifical to the reef tank if I dripped Kalk but I want to DIY to save some bucks but I want to do it right so here goes:
(1) I have a friend who works for a medical company who is getting me a iv drip system and I wanted to use this to drip Kalk.I would like to know how to mix the solution
(2) after mixing I have researched that there will be a white precipate that should not be allowed to get into the tank is it ok to mix the kalk and then just put the clear liquid into the iv?
(3) are any alterations to this iv system that i would have to do before hand?
(4) are any other substances I could use instead of Kalkwasser mix.
I hope I have been clear and precise but if not I will elaborate and hopefully get some good advice. Thanks .
