is your clown hosting in the anemone yet? they will usually feed the anemone if it gets hungry,,, if not just put some food in the middle near the mouth when its hungry (if its hungry) it will eat.

I feed both of my anemones with a turkey baster and either a mixture of squid and or mysis shrimp. I have heard it is not a good idea to feed anemones silver sides because of the bones. They have to eventually expel them which can cause either alot of extra cleaning for you or spike in nitrates/nitrites. I have a rose bubble tip anemone and a white sebae. I feed them about twice a week after i have feed the other fish so they wont try and steal the food from the anemone. Good Luck!

Forgot to mention: when you are squeezing the turkey baster over the anemone: ie especially if it is near high water flow. Squeeze it slow and close to the tentacles so that the anemone with have better chance gripping onto the food.

I usually add a couple of pieces of squid that are too big for my clowns to eat (if I can fend off the other fish!) and they will bring them to their BTAs. Otherwise I will just poke it in with my finger. (careful tho, some 'nems sting more than BTAs)
