How to find "sugar" sand

Hi guys, I'm new to the hobby (at least to saltwater fishkeeping) and I would really like to get substrate for my 50 gallon aquarium that looks like sugar. I was in Pensacola FL recently and was amazed at the sand on the beach there, it literally looked like white sugar both when it was wet and when it was dry (very white dry, slightly tan in the water--just like if you dump a cup of sugar into a pot of water).
Short of traveling to Pensacola and taking some sand home (I've been told this is illegal, which I find hard to believe--I thought it was called "beachcombing"), can anyone recommend a particular brand or shop that would sell something like this? I suppose buying something packaged would be better anyway since I don't know how the natural sand would do as far as buffering pH and stuff.

I have some that I used in my 5.5g that I just setup yesterday. The bag says "Nature's Ocean Premium Marine Substrates"
I don't remember how much it costs since I bought it 6 months back and it just sat there. I got it at ***** before I knew how bad that place really was.

Seachem's Meridian is pretty bright. Its an all natural oolitic (spherical or egg shaped) aragonite substrate. It's grain size (a fairly uniform .25 - .50 mm)
Meridian was my 2nd choice. I went with CaribSea Aragamax because I found it with cheaper shipping. Its a bit "dirtier" but still looks great under the lights.

I would think that perfectly white sand would highlight junk on the sand, which might have the opposite effect from attractiveness. :)

Cool thanks, those both look pretty good. The Nature's Ocean site has several that look interesting, including a black type.

I have the marine white sand from Nature's Ocean....It's the finest grain sand they have. If that helps at all.

I would not go with the sand I previously mentioned. I used it in my tank and it blew everywhere for a week until I finally changed it out.
