how to flush ro?

Its time for me to flush my ro unit and im not sure how. It has a yellow inlet line, a red waste water line and a blue line for the pure water.
Any help would be great.

One way is to remove the restrictor on the waste water line and run the unit a minute or so.
To make it easier in the future you can install a bypass with a shut off valve that allows the water to bypass the restrictor when the valve is open.

i dont see a restrictor

OK I found the restrictor it was in the elbow fitting on the ro housing. Do I just swap out the restrictor to the pure water outlet. Or do i need to blow thru the ro backwards?

No, the idea is to flush. What is needed is a way to let the water flow through to the waste line wide open without a restriction.
