How do you frag a gorgonian? A little help please?

Find a small piece of reef rubble and crack it in half. Dry the rock where it was cracked and set aside. An oblong piece works better than a round piece.
Snip a branch of the Gorg gently shake it until all polyps are closed and pull it out of the water.
Trim 1/2" of flesh off the bottom of the branch to expose the stem.
Glue the two halves of the rock together with the gorg stem pinched between the rocks. Superglue Gel is good.
Place immediately into saltwater. It is now ready to glue to another rock for permanent placement.

I have use an empty snail shell for this before. Did the trimming etc. and put some gel into the cavity of the shell then stuck the gorg in. The shell can then be glued where ever.

A pair of wire strippers works great for stripping the 1/4" of flesh off the bottom. Probably one of the easiest corals to frag IMO
