How to frag open brain?

I had this question in the LPS section, but no one answered, so I thought Id post here. I have a open brain that is receded because it was too close to a mushroom. The skeleton is showing on about 1/3. Someone suggested fragging it. Any suggestions for how to do this?

cleanest way is a water tile saw, just put saltwater in instead of fresh water. and make sure you flush it out really really well
other ways are hammer, dremel machine, chisel, whatever.

or just remove the mushroom...

Any area on the brain? Should I cut into the good tissue part or just outside of it? The mushroom has already been removed, but the tissue is not growing back on the exposed skeleton.

I happened to oversee a guy at my local LFS frag an open brain. He used a dremel to cut the base first and when he got to the fleshy area, used a sharp razor. I just saw bits and pieces of what he was doing. But after the cut, I believe you want to give it a iodine dip for recovery. Google search, you'll find all you need...
