Try soaking them in GARLIC XTREEME or KENT'S ENTICE,, that should get him going, how old and big is the tang? do you put it on a lettuce clip?

i beleive real garlic is much better than the stuff at the store because it helps the fish eat and helps its immune system, unlike the packaged stuff which only helps the fish it. its up to you

get a clove, cut it in half, and rub it all over. My co-worker had to do that when he got his tang last week. I thought he was crazy.

zooplankton eaters as juvi's. mature tangs are herbivores but will eat zooplankton if the need arises. Mine never had a problem. I just put the greens on a clip and in minutes its gone from day one. and my hippo was sold to me as "tiny" and measured about 1.5"

i knew i read it somewhere just wasnt sure on the full situation and i think that is why hippos get along with there own type in smaller quarters than most tangs most plankton eaters tend to stay together
