Razor blade
Or something comparable that would "scrap" the coral's foot off the glass without destroing any tissue.

No no no, you could cut the guy and cause trouble! :) Actually, turn a power head on him and make him made enough to move :)

Yeah the razor blade seems like a bad idea to me too. If the powerhead thing doesn't work, you could take ice cubes in a ziplock bag and hold the bag against his foot until he is willing to let you gently pull him off the glass. I have personally done this and the anemone is still living undamaged in my tank.

ya ive heard that the ice is a good idea when wanting to remove it, the powerhead will more then likely only cause the anemone to move to a new location

if the anemone is attached to the glass you can gently remove it by hand.
put your hand inside of a nice big plastic bag and slowly slid your fingertips underneath its foot. eventually it will release and no harm should be done.
that method worked for me removing my green carpet

That is what I have seen Thomas recommend before.

Razor blades and credit cards on the smooth glass surface will work to remove an anemone. Of course, do not use the same method on LR.

I have had a bubble tip for 2 yrs and he has split 14 times, i have sold 7 of them and still have a cluster of 7 that my maroons play in. I have always used a razor blade for anything on the glass, and have not had any bad effects.
here is a pic of my cluster, now if anyone has any idea on how to get them off of rock that would be awsome. I usually just use a powerhead but you never know which way they are going to move. Plus funny thing, i can put a powerhead on an anenome and it will stay for hours, the moment i turn my head and do something else, it will move like 8 inches in the wrong direction. then have to start over.

dont use razor blade as TIMER says use a big plastic bag with your hand inside then ease it of using your fingers u cant feel with a credit card or razor blade

The reason i referenced the razor blade was because it has the thinist edge. I use a razor blade for anything on glass... the size of the anenomes foot would be a key factor in deciding what to use. Just BE CAREFUL.

HAHA That is the # 1 huge question everyone ask. It is a mixture blue and salmon marine sand made from estes. thank you for the compliment though

Well I got it off there i tried the ice in a bag and still no luck so i used a thin plastic card not as thick as a credit card and it slipped right between the glass and the anemone. will update on its health after a week or 2
