How to get ready for vacation?

Large top off bucket. I set up a 20G bin for top off when I'm going away.
Do a larger than normal water change the night before. Clean skimmer, check over all pumps, powerheads, overflows, etc. Might want to consider a refugium if you don't already have one and running a little extra carbon and some purigen while you are gone as well.
Check over your lighting and all wires as well. Even power chords to skimmer pumps, etc.
Do you have anyone responsible with half a brain that can come and check on the tank? Do you have fish that need to be fed?
