how to get rid of green slime algea

ive got a green slime algea outbreak out and dont know how to stop it. does any one have any ideas? its all over my LR. starting to spread onto coral as well. what do i do

I have the same problem too? Can someone help? I see green spots on my rocks.

I bought a sailfin tang. I had hair algea and all kinds of badness growing in there. before the day was over he completely cleanned up all the unwante algea. awesome fish.

if possible, take out all of your rocks and coral that have the slime algae on them and scrub them of in SALT WATER. NOT FRESH WATER. also, do a 40-50 percent water change to get your nutrients down.
another thing that might be a problem is an insufficient amount of flow. slime algae thrives in areas of little to no flow.
