How to get rid of mushrooms???

If you want to take the time I'm sure you can find takers for frags and nuke what you don't want with limewater or lemon juice.

Really the mushrooms are not anything special. Pretty much the same color as purple coralline algea which I have enough of that too. The rocks they are on are too big to part with so nuking them sounds good. Doesn't bother me at all.

If there is a local reef club, just post that you have free shrooms and people will be lined up to help you.

In fact, if you post in the trading section, I'm sure someone would be happy to ship (return postage paid) you an empty thermos to fill and return.

Thank you for the suggestions. I agree with you all about not killing them, and they do make great beginner corals. I'm pretty sure one would have to try to kill them, hence my current situation. I wish there was more interest in my area...not a single store that sells or trades coral anymore within a 100mi radius. I will most likely go the lemon juice route, but if someone would send me a postage paid container they can have all they want! (hint, hint...)
