cause my landlady is crazy. she has all kinds of weird stipulations written into our lease. she can add things to the lease for "maintenance" or whatever. for example, Its written into the lease that we are responsible for mowing the lawn, all 14 acres of it. well it needs to be mowed once a week and having just moved here from across the country we dont own a mower, So I need to pay a service 80 dollars a week to mow it. BUT if we miss a week and she drives by and sees that its not done, she will hire the same service, and then add $250 onto our monthly rent because she had to get it done.
Uh, I don't care what she has written into the lease. I know of no lessee contract that states a landlord can walk into a rental property unannounced. It's called CHANGE THE LOCKS.
Maybe you should invite her over when your friendly bear comes out to take another dump. Problem solved.

Did you even read the lease befoe you signed it? I would never sign something that says the landlord can walk in whenever they want.

I agree, if you were staying, I'd change the locks, and tell her oh yeah what are you going to do about it? Either that or get a gun and shoot it a couple times, because you thought she was a trespasser. Because that is nuts.

I moved here because this is where my new job was, they people at my work said they had a house ready immediately with cheap rent for me to move into. so we did, I met the landlady 3 weeks later and THATS when I signed the lease. I was already moved in there was nothing I could do about it.

Hmm, since you're moving out anyway, I'd be real tempted to let the crazy landlady keep the deposit and then leave a stain of my own on the carpet before leaving on your last day.

Since you're moving, this won't really matter much, but in Georgia, your landlord is not respecting your privacy rights. What she is doing is illegal. A lease gives her grounds for some things, but it doesn't give her the right to enter with notice unless there is an emergency.
Changing the locks would be wasted money, because the first time she tried them (and couldn't get in) she could demand you revert them back. She may be required to give notice... but you're not allowed to lock her out either.

The problem is, if this person is associated with this church you're a paid pastor at. You've kinda gotta smile and nod for the most part...

Well, I scanned so if you already found a remedy, then skip this... But I did see where pet odor removers with those enzymes are mentioned...they work great! Just rinse well or the residual soap collects dirt and you will see spots forever.
But even better than those products is... Rug doctor's "pet and odor remover"
That stuff is AWESOME!! Okay, I'm done. good luck

That is a beautiful idea.

If the church condones illegal and inappropriate behavior... it's not a good church to be associated with in the first place.

Nature's miracle works great. Get the red jug, not the spray bottle and literally saturate the area of carpet so that it penetrates the pad too then let it air dry. It may take a few days to completely dry but when the carpet is fully dried out the odor will be gone for good.

Nature's Miracle is truly what the name says. IMO of all of the suggestions here, this is the one that is most likely to work. Just as jennln said, saturate the area. I get the stuff in the squeeze bottle and literally douse the carpet until it is completely wet, then allow to dry. This product does not remove the urine, it neutralizes it. Once it dries, you can follow up with a regular carpet cleaner to extract the neurtalized urine and any associated stains.
My dog had urethra damage after she got hit by a truck so she tends to "leak" a bit when sleeping, so we keep bottles of this stuff around, it works every single time. The stain is harder to get rid of but it always solves the odor. The stuff is very expensive, but it works.
