dozens of pictures have been posted on this BB, and dozens of people have built their own. Try doing a search and see what comes up. This is an example of what has been posted.

You will need the overflow box...a return pump...your 29 gallon tank...some sort of biological filtration...and then put everything in your sump...heater, skimmer, etc.
They are very easy to construct...
Basically...the overflow sucks the water from the tank (siphon), gravity takes it to the sump where the water will be filtered, heated skimmed or whatever...it will then be sucked into the return pump forced back up to the tank and dispensed into the tank through a spray bar of some sort...
How you accomplish this is pretty much an individual thing...learn more of what you need to get from a sump...then figure out how to do it...doing this will produce you a sump which you know in and out.
Part of this hobby for myself is constructing things and watching them perform as intended, or troubleshoot when needed and improve...very rewarding for this simple minded aquarist...

I used the above diagram for my sump and then after actually using it I revised it I think that this has worked a little better, especailly if you are actully going to use the middle section for a fuge, the problem was too much turbualnce over sand.
