I've had my tank up and running for just over a year now. At first, I only wanted FOWLR, but now I'm feeling very confident with my ability to keep my water stable, and I want to start a reef. My problem is that I have a CC star that has grown to a pretty good size. He was teeny when I got him. I live in a really small town and there are no LFS around here. I don't want to get corals just so the star will eat them, and I don't wanna flush him, so is there any way to get rid of him without straight up killing him myself, or should I wait until he dies of natural causes?
