How to make zoa's grow?

Hello,
I have a few radio active eagle eyes and would like to know what conditions are needed to make them grow and spread? The small piece of rock they are on has about 8-10 heads but I can't seem to make them grow out onto the larger rock they are sitting on. I have had them for about 2 months. I have a metal halide pendent 175w and 28w blues. Any help would be great
Thanks
Mark

there are located in the middle of my 20g high tank. Water flow is medium/low. No other corals near by.They are opening and closing fine but just not spreading around.

With you lighting I'd try moving them down and see if that helps. Also, how's your Ca ,dKh and mag? Do you feed? I use cyclopeeze.

Feed them. Also most zoos are from high light areas so dont put em lower, higher maybe but do it slowly. It also seems that most like a little higher flow in a wave motion not constant.

it seems to me that the key to the reproduction of zoas is deffinately flow... i have noticed in my zoa tank that having med/high current in one direction seems to make the grow quicker.... i dont know about the light issue as i have seen zoas reproduce in all different lighting... i personal use 20k mh bulbs and it seems to do the trick for me.... i do agree with the feeding advice.... i use also cyclopeeze i think it stimulates them like no other product the polyp extension increase greatly and the growth as well..... just my 2cents
