I brought a condi and I want to move it to another part of the rock, but this thing is stuck on for good. I can't seem to get it loose. Any tips on getting them unstuck and move them with out prying it off and killing it. And it seems to over taken my tank too.

well, when I brought it it was about 1inch wide. In 3 weeks it balloon up this big. it's a 10gal tank. I didn't know it would get this big...

Ya - under proper conditions it will get bigger too. 10 Gallons IMO is WAY too small for an anemone.
You could point a small power head towards the anemone, and if the conditions are not right the anemone will move on its own. I would try a mixture of changing current in the tank, lights, etc.
Good luck.

Thanks for the tip, lex. I will try the current flow with the pumps. if that doesn't work I will send in a puffer to trim some of its tentacles... haha!!

Are you just wanting to move it in the tank, or would you like to move it out of the current tank? Even if you get the anemone to move, in a 10 gallon tank more than likely it will just move back to the current spot it is in. From the looks of it, the anemoe is right under the lights, almost as close as it can get - so my thoughts are even if you manage to move it to another spot it will just move right back to where it is because of the lighting/flow conditions in that spot.

lee- you can put some ice cubes in a ziplock bag. pull the rock out of the water (or you can do it in the water). find an edge of the base of the anemone. start rubbing the ice on the foot. eventually it'll let go of the rock.

Lex - right now, I want to move it to another spot in the tank, like the corner or something. It look great for a while but starting to get annoying as it is always the center of attention. I wanted the fishes to be the center attention, not the anemone.
Right now it's tuck in a nice tight crevice and I can't to seem to blast it with a 1200 maxi-jet. It did balloon up pretty big, when I blasted it directly into it's mouth.. but it still stay put..
Isis - I will try your method next. I will report back if I get any results. thanks guys.
