How To Pick a Coral!?!

Setting up a 26gal reef tank. I'm looking for any and all suggestions and information about what are good or bad corals to start with as a first timer and why?

Shrooms would be my first pick. Not a lot of light or feedings are needed. About the most maintence free coral. Toadstools are pretty easy as well. Colt is a good one but they get big quick and you will need to frag it, Xenias ( they grow out of control as well though) and zoos. All of these are prob In my experience the easiest to keep.
