So before you go off bad mouthing me for trading habits or selling habits ...evereyone else can see this for whats its worth pictures speek louder than words ..yes its NOW a big beautiful tank but not by your efforts...........pic 1 is what you got 2-3 is what i got in this trade.BTW i tried to hand deliver it again to you in april when i drove to ill .you didnt have time to meet with me/I told you then I didnt want to ship it and not you know why.you didnt pay for the ballest nor the shipping bottom line is I did

Your exagerations and blatant lies (scratches and gouges?!?!) are not required. The tank was dirty and had one scratch on the outside front. You were fully aware of that before you picked it up, as I sent many pics. I was very up front about all of that in all of my classified posts, as well as the discussions that you and I had before you came to get it. You, having to pay for gas, snacks, etc. is not my problem, nor was that factored into the trade. Do you go to the store and say "Well, I just had to spend $5, in gas, to get here so I want this $5 cheaper than what it's advertised for."?
Other than the tank, everything else was junk...I wouldnt have put that so-called "wet/dry" on a 10gal. tank, let alone that 90gal. New Hamilton lights?!?! The lights were old, unless they came out of the box with the corrosion on them. The lights are useless, as you've kept the ballast.
You ripped me off, plain and simple. A fair trade?!?!?!...a 300gal. tank for a 90gal. tank and you kept part of what you said you were going to trade? That's thievery, plain and simple. Mailed me the ballast??...by pony express, perhaps? If you'd have mailed it, you'd have a mailing reciept...something which you just cant happen to find. Sounds odd to me.
You took advantage of someone that needed to get rid of the 300 because it wouldnt fit into their house.
I know I got jipped...and now everyone else on this board knows about it and knows not to buy/trade with you.

Couple of things:
It is truly unfortunate that the actual problem in this thread could not be further addressed. How extremely frustrating to sort through all the crud to try and solve the problem. Hopefully the fish do survive in the end. THere were some good efforts at advice but...
We would much appreciate it if personal issues be left off this board. There is an opportunity to provide feedback in the classifieds, but that should be the end of it on the rest of the board.
Finally, a reminder that the use of alter egos is grounds for banning from this board, as certain people should already be aware of......
