How to relocate my tank

Just moved my tank to Kip's house.
90 gallon - 150 lbs of rock - lots of corals and fish.
Took 3 hours to breakdown. Probably 6 - 5 gallon buckets, 2 - 15 gallon buckets, 4 15 gallon rubbermaid tubs.
Put rocks in several tubs (some pieces are Very large)
Put sand in 2 5 gallon buckets
put fish in 2 5 gallon buckets
Drive took 1.5 hours.
Setup took about 4 hours - used probably half new water, half old. No problems with anything dying. Stressed a little, but no deaths.

Thanks guys, that will help a lot. I've got a good idea how to do it now. But one other thing. Since I'm going to get a new 125 gallon tank for my birthday (nice hubby), should I make it coincide with the move, or is that too much bigger that the tank would have to cycle and not be ready for the fish as I move them?

IMO I think if you can transport all of the water from your old tank and add some more substrate and LR, it would be fine. I think it would be like a huge water change in the 125g. I hope you are following me b/c it makes sense in my head although that can mean very little to others. PLUS, that would be much less hastle then to start up the old and then transport again.

I follow you, and that's what I was thinking, but I just wanted to make sure because I know there are a lot of you guys out there with tons more experience than I. So any advice will be considered. Thanks...
