This actually works pretty good. It almost got a sally lightfoot crab out with it this weekend , but it was too quick. I did catch a lot of chromis with it though :)

May need to use that on a juv red coris wrasse that I want to relocate..............Hmmmmmmm....now what to use as bait........ :rolleyes:

I used this same method to catch my blue damsel. :D Although i used a two liter bottle.
I put a small amount of formula two in it and about a 1/2 hour later he was out ot the tank. :) I tried every method i could think of to catch this very smart bugger with no luck. Than i remembered the minnow traps we used to use as a kid down at the creek. They were basicly the same thing but made of wire mesh. Worked like a charm once again. I guess fish are fish weather they are in a creek or a tank. :)

I have used the coke bottle method before to rid my tank of a blue damsel. Worked like a charm. I found that if the lights are off in the evenings, that's the best time to catch them. Put a small amount of food in the trap and sit by the tank quietly and wait. It also helps to punch a few holes in the bottom to let the water drain out when you pull the trap out. All that's left is the fish or whatever you wanna trap.
