how to SFE proof my tank

So Ive had many o eels in my day, and the only eel I havent been able to keep that Ive tried is a SFE. They always get out of the tank. Ive only had really little ones though. Im going to give another SFE a shot mainly because its the only eel I can think of that most likely wont be able to eat my 4 inch lunare wrasse.
My question is how to I prevent them from getting out? I had one in a 37 gallon tank with an eclipse system on it(the filtration/lighting system that covers the entire tank) and they still got out. What should I do?

I have had really good luck using lexan sheets from HD. Its relatively easy to cut and holds its shape pretty well. Ill post my top for my 55 later (g/f just left with the camera). Also, dont underestimate the strength of an eel. Even a newborn. They are all muscle and the top needs to be weighted.
