Are the white spots like a slime.or could they be chipped off coraline from the shipping?? Smell and white spider webs are the two main signs of uncured rock. How many lbs did you get,and how many gallons is the tank you are putting it in to? Also,is the tank established,or in the cycle??

it is indopacific live rock from thailand. there is only about 30lbs which is to go into a cycling sytem. the system is 75 gallons and has been inoculated with substrate from an established tank. it has been running for two weeks. i have bought live rock from tha same source before but it never had the white deposits. the deposits are not slimy.
thanks for the posts.
