Don't add anything to alter your PH.
If your Alkalinity is low then it's good to add Baking Soda. What is your Alkalinity??

What's the Alkalinity?
How long has the system been running? Is anything rotting in the tank?
How much waterflow do you have?

We have a skimmer, a diatom filter, and a circulator.
There is nothing dead in the tank.

Buy a test kit to test your alkalinity & calcium. We need the alkalinity reading to help you with adding baking soda. Do not add anything until you are able to test.
Until then, explain your setup for us... size of tank, fish, the WATER FLOW you have, etc. These things will give a general idea of what may be bringing the PH down.
