Well my stars are out and looking good! Im really happy about that. My shrooms are looking good as well but they are still not fully expanded. I was looking closer at my tank and making sure that my big snails were still alive and I discovered that on of them have about 20 TINY feather dusters on it. There are brown ones, white ones and coper colored ones. How big do these get and Im not sure if my snail is alive but if its dead how do I get it out of the shell without damaging the dusters? My temp is up to about 78 right now and things are looking good.
Thanks for the help and info guys!

My tank is running at about 28-32 degrees Celsius. I know thats WAYto hot but i'm not sure what to do... My lights are creating the heat and if i take my lights(3 54ww VHO 10K, 1 54ww Actinic VHO) away my corals will hate me. What should i do? i cant afford chiller(where i live we dont even get comercial chillers) And i cant raise my hood, the temp in my house in the day time is about 28 Degrees Celcius and at night time around 22 degress celcuis. I want to install little computer fans in the hood but how will i power them? PLEASe HELP!!!

Get some 120 volt computer fans and solder them to the power switch so they come on when you turn the light on. Other than that I dont know what to tell you because I have no idea how to convert celsius.

If you can't afford a chiller, try keeping the tank uncover all the time. You will lose alot of water daily but that will keep the temp down a couple of degrees. Go to abay and look in Home and Garden, then look for Pet Supplies and click on fish, do a search for cooling fans and you will find what you want.

 70 degrees, just thinking about it gives me the chilles :) My heater keeps the tank above 79.5 and the chiller keeps it below 81.5...........

77-78 hard to read on termometer. Unless my mom opens the windows and it is warmer outside then the tank-then I'm in trouble, luckly having acylic for a tank helps insulate inside and out.:joy:

Yep, that is an urchin. My water is nice and warm now and my eels and other fish seem to be doing ok with the change. In my tank right now are 2 big turbo snails with feather duster on them, 3 "brakish" moray eels, 1 mudfish or dogfish, a pencil urchin and a lunar wrasse. Everything gets along fine but Im going to trade in 2 of my eels and the dogfish at the local fish place for some coral or something else.
Thanks guys
