I don't know....If it's good I am going to eat it...I am not going to net anything out of the aquarium...but if it comes from a supermarket, and i'm hungry, it's dinner or lunch maybe breakfast!!!

I eat it....rarely. I understand the nutritional benefits of it, and I enjoy it...but only rarely, like today I had some shrimp, and that is the first time that I have had shrimp in a month!
Although every Lent (Episcopalian) I give up ALL meat, and gotta say that it is hard, but I feel better (like physically). Although, I am not sure what kinda organic compounds you would miss bye bieng a vegitarian... that would be interesting to know...

I am from New England, which as you may know is big time into its seafood, however I do not touch anything 'cept tuna subs with pickles N shredded lettuce lol. I grew up around lobsters, clams, steamers, cod, haddock, all that crap, yet I was never into eating bottomfeeders. Even more weird, I am an avid fisherman, fishing for mostly Striped Bass in the marshes, rivers, and off the beaches, yet I have no interest in keeping a "keeper" and eating it. I was conned into trying Striper once, even though I thought of it as sacrilige lol, and I did not enjoy it. However I will keep 1 a year, and give it to my older brother and his family to eat, but I release the rest and put them back where they belong. Perfect example...here's a 35.5 pound Striper I caught this Sept., and released it...most people keep these.....

It was about 45" long.

I forget who it was... but they were looking at my tank and they seen one of my fire shrimp. They said "Are those the shrimp you eat??" I said.. "You better not eat that shrimp, he cost me 20 bucks".

Striper isn't bad eating. Cut the red steak out of the meat, dip it in some batter and fry it up. Actually a friend of mine will blacken it when we go camping and it is pretty good that way too. He got me into striper fishing 3 years ago and I'm hooked on it now. Since then I went out and bought a bass boat to fish for them. I haven't caught many over 7 pounds, but I was with my buddy when he landed a 32 pounder and an 18 pounder. Its fun reeling them in!

Why do you think I bought a 250 gallon set up? So I can start raising my own tuna, grouper, lobster, and shrimp!

LOL - Just kidding
I know I can't fit all that into my tank!

Sure buddy, you keep thinking that. Actually the really only downside to being a vegitarian is insufficient protein in your det, but with this day and age so many supplements are used to maintain that.
