hows my tank doing??????

My 30 gal is about 1 month old, here are my readings from today........
PH- 8.2-8.4
Nitrate- 5.0-8.0
Nitrite-0
Amonia- 0.0-0.3
Does that sound like its about right??? Also......
I had 3 Damsels die about 1 week - 1 1/2 weeks ago.. my duster threw its crown a week ago, my blue leg hermit " molted " . I have pods all over the place, I think I saw a bristle worm, I have those really little nusince anemones, ( they are white and all over the place ). I have an unknown slug about 2 millimeters long I have seen twice now,..... and I just saw a little worm , very thin , about 1 inch long......... any idea on the id of these creatures???? and how does it sound like it is going so far??????? any suggestions will be appreciated, thanx
I also just got 2 Mexican Turbo Grazer snails and 3 Tiny Blue Algae Hermit crabs today......

Sounds like you have WAY too much life in a new tank.... try to slow it down a little.... The hermits will probably kill the snails if water conditions dont......
It does sound as if your parameters are on the way down.... after they have reached optimum levels then try to add livestock desired a little at a time.
