Mines doing very well. I can actually see the difference when I put it in about 45 minutes later my polyps are extended much further as well as my xenia.
Now for the bad news... hehe
First of all, I started growing hair algae shortly after introducing it. My levels all seemed fine, but it was growing fast and coming on strong (Like hair algae always seems to do) Bought 10 hermets and stopped leaving the lights on 14 hours a day and its pretty much gone now.
But what was interesting is that I had a discussion with a marine biologist who was telling me that Kent marine and a few others out there often get the same "My anemones opened up!!!" cases and that these are actually BAD. He went on to say that the reason a lot of these chemicals do this, is because they contain "glucose" (sugar) and that makes your anemones 'smell' (for lack of better word) the glucose and open up looking for food. He likened it to you being STARVING and unable to move while sitting in the kitchen and someone is baking something fantastic smelling in the kitchen. So you smell it, your mouth waters, but you never actually get to taste what you are smelling. Sounds kinda cruel to me.
The marine guy said that he hadnt heard of this with Reef Solutions, but wouldnt put it past them and as long as I was making sure to add the needed calcium and phrotoplankton etc that it couldnt hurt.
Other than the hair algae I can definitely say my anemones are all active. I even had a star polyp that wouldnt open up after receiving it, but finally opened up after a week within 2 hours of me adding the solution. And it never closed up again (cept of course, at night but was right back once lights were back on)
