I purchased a PFO HQI dual ballast, and am putting together an order for the rest of the parts to mount in my canopy. I haven't been able to find a reflector for HQI bulbs, SO...
Do I need a reflector? If so, what is suitable for HQI? and also Do I need to put glass between the bulbs and tank for UV filtering? Can I use regular window glass?

You need special fixtures with DE HQI bulbs. Check out the Reef Optix III pendant from Sunlight Suppply. I've heard good things about them. The PFO Pendants are good too. I used the PFO's when I ran DE bulbs.
Yes, you need the UV glass..

I don't know of a cheap place to get em......most online dealers get about 100.00 for eash pendant...PFO or SS
