HQI question

i want to replace the buld of my odessea HQI fixture for a better bulb
it says its a 15k but it dont look very blue and i wanted to know what buld would fit my fixture,i dont know if they make differant ends on the DE bulbs
would a phenix bulb fit?

what wattage is the bulb? single end or double end?

we need to know how many watts...i recently switched out my 250watt mh bulbs for the pheonix 14k..awesome color...its white with a blue tint...if u really like the blue color i suggest XM 20k....

its a 250 watt Double ended, i was just wondering because ive seen some of the end caps look a bit diferant and i didnt want to buy something i cant use

just search for DE HQI bulbs and you will be fine

i have heard that the odyssey ballast does not fire all the other brand name bulbs.

I believe that it does just not to the full potential of the bulb

well just got a hamilton 250 watt 14k and its very blue,almost as blue as some 20ks ive seen,fired right up and seems to be working fine,made my green poylp look awsome!
