Hubby?

Do any of the other men on this forum, married or not, find it irritating when women refer to their spouses as "hubby"? For some reason, and I don't know why, it makes me cringe everytime I see/hear it.
I don't know, maybe I'm just pointlessly cranky because of the insomnia I dealing with as a result of trying to quit smoking.

he doesn't seem to have a problem with it.
Have you tried auricular therapy??? My girl friend did it and it worked wonders. A friend of hers (who works in smokey casino) needed 2 sessions.

You are not alone it drives me absolutly nuts when I hear that word. Luckily my wife understnad my little quirks and doesn't us it agianst me!

Never hubby, but there are many worse names. The cutsie wootsie names she usually calls me I won't dare repeat here on the boards.

I just don't respond to those names...has worked thus far - though she still tries from time to time.
