you dont have to feed them anything, as they are mostly photosynthetic, however you can spot feed with meaty food items, or my personal favorite shrimp pellets...

mine was the size of a dime.... i was quite mad, but since i since i payed $12 for a dwarf angel, it was alright.

They ship them very small: less than one inch. I have some from saltwaterfish.com though that are now 4" and have split multiple times in the year I have had them.
