Huma & Damsels?

Would a small huma work in a 55 - along with a few of the more aggressive damsels? Or one other fish? Who gets added first? No eels, lol.
Thanks much.

You will need a larger tank eventually . A 55 is not big enough to house a humu humu long term . The more fish you add to the tank the sooner you will need to upgrade. There simple isn't enough volume of water for fish to have territory in a 55 . Humu's can become very aggressive with other fish .
A smaller angel would be fine also . But in any case add the humu humu last , and try to get the trigger as small as possible .

I honestly do not see the damsels becoming aggressive to the point of stressing out a Humu Humu trigger , Any Trigger for that matter . While Damsels can be aggressive and bother other fish Triggers are more than capable of taking care of them selves .

Don't get me wrong, Damsals are tough and aggressive, but take 3 average damsals + growing Huma = Huma in charge with no questions.
Agree with other posts, a 55 may be just a touch small long term...I have seen happy Humas in a 75 though.

The Huma would be in the 55 for maybe a year or two max - depending on his size and growth....then an upgrade in tank size will be underway.

Doesn't matter...Very unlikely a Damsal of any size shape or flavor will stress out any Huma Huma no matter what. I had a Huma for 5 years, he was the smallest fish in a tank of seven fish, he was never stressed by anyone.

You come across rude in the post . On top of that your opinion is very ill informed and the advice you gave would be the polar opposite of pretty much everybody with any knowledge of ANY SIZE Humu humu trigger .
I will at this time also remind you that using or implying foul language is against the terms of service .
