Our experience has now changed 1 year later our huma went crazy and attacked the niger and we also think he was harassing the other fish as well had to remove him. At this point he was about 4" long and very thick. Everyone is right can't trust them as they mature.

A few months ago, I picked up a 6" Humu from work. All other specimens I'd seen, they were all laid back, very peaceful, etc. This one, however, would attack the Mag-Float and anything else you put in the tank. Reluctantly, I went ahead and brought him home but placed him in my 150gal. Rubbermaid for quarentine.
I had him for over a month and every time I started to put him in the display, I just couldnt bring myself to do it. I have my Hawaiian Dragon Moray and was just nervous about the Humu attacking her.
I took it back to the store, but we were out of room if I wanted to put it into a tank by itself. I placed it in a tank with a 8" - 10" Giant Hawkfish, thinking everything would be ok. Less than 20 seconds in the tank, the Humu went directly for the Hawkfish's eyes...just trying to destroy this poor Hawkfish.
Thankfully, I got the Humu out, before it did any damage. The Humu is still at the store and since then, I've brought the Giant Hawkfish home and he now resides with the Hawaiian Dragon and Whitemouth Moray.
I once had a 1.5" - 2" Humu kill and eat a 7" Peacock Mantis Shrimp. Talk about being surprised...

That must have been quite a battle!

Humas, Picassos, and Asassis are all very similar in coloring. All I know for sure is what I've researched, and Humus/Picassos are about "average" aggressiveness for Triggers.
If you want the most well mannered, try the Asassi, the Pink Tail, Blue Throat, and the Niger. I am quoting from memory here, so research before taking my word for it.

Just for the record, huma/humu = picasso (I'm sure you knew that just clarifying for any n00bs that might be reading for info). Picassos, bursas, assasis, and rectangular triggers are all similar as they're derived from the Rhinecanthus genus. That's why a picasso vs a rectangle looks so much more alike than say, a picasso and a niger. Different genus entirely.

I've had luck with my humu and lion fish together for over a year now (close to 2 years I think). I think the keys to my success are that the lion was added first, the fish have plenty of room so there are no territorial disputes, and they are well fed on a balanced diet. So far no problems, but I keep a close eye on the situation. In my experience Humu's are pretty docile as far as triggers go, but I know many people on this board have horror stories of their trigger "snapping" and killing everything in the tank.

How are rectangular triggers?I was thinking about getting one eventually, but if they are anywhere near as insane as picasso's, I'll get something else.
