give him another week. he should come out sooner or later. hes just a little stressed
PS what size tank, and what other fish are in there, and how long has the tank been setup?

i have two clowns, snowflake eel, sand sifting star fish, cleaner shrimp, hermit crab and the huma in a 50g tank for now until i get my 75g and i have had it setup for about 3 months now

IMO, your tank is just too small for it to be able to swim around. Mine swims the entire length of my 125g all day until lights are off, and hes only been in there for 2 days now.

IMO i think its fine, for about a year or so,, then you will probably need larger than a 75, im going from a 35 to a 150 and then a 300 when we build in 3 years. but give him time and keep in mind your shrimp and hermit are going to be lunch soon, hope your not to attached.

he should be fine then. just make sure the eel doesnt bother him with that little space. hes probably just a little stressed from the move. give him a week.

Its not unusual for triggers to take this long to get bold. He's probably going to scarf up your inverts soon ( as said by small triggers above) and if you have small clowns, they could be next . Humas don't stay the cute little guys you see at every lfs; they turn into typical, aggressive triggers.

Hey Tidalwave. Just read this post. I am curious to see if you still have your Inverts. I had cleaner shrimp before my trigger and really miss them. Are yours still living?

yeah... cause i had a cleaner before and it took 5 seconds and it was over... lol as soon as the cleaner got in the tank, it didnt even get a chance to touch the sand, lol... already had no more legs and antenna :( it was over, fatality & flawless victory for the picasso trigger... haha
plus it is a huge swimmer, just like a tang, mine swam north, south and east, west... the whole 125g tank

Did you drop the shrimp in with lights on in the middle of the day?

haha yeah the shrimp didnt last long the trigger got him at night cuz i went to bed one night woke up and shrimpy was gone! and he eventually got the hermit crab although they had some good battles. i actually just got rid of him cuz i want coral and i need inverts to clean up my tank so traded him in to my lfs and got 15 dollar credit for him! only bought him for 20 bucks
