Is this some type of SPS coral? Pretty darn cool if you ask me. I don't think that it is any type of Gorgonian, but I could be wrong.

Wow! Those pictures are fantastic. I get a lot of ideas and inspiration from some of your pictures Rye. I seriously need to invest in a better camera. Photography seems to go hand in hand with this hobby.

The stylaster lacks the yellowish coloration (the usual coloration is purple or red), which leads me to think that the coral pictured is part of the class "Hydrocorallia," or a Hydro Coral. My guess would be a species of Fire coral (Millepora sp.)
