Humu Humu Trigger ? is this normal

I fully agree that this is a teritorial issue. My triggers are allways slapping the rocks and sand bed. It's kinda of like a gorilla pounding its chest .
Taking a healthy fish and treating it with hypo and copper in a small QT tank will only stress the fish out. So I would not suggest it unless your sure you have ich.
What other tank mates do you have and what kind of behavior do they show.

Oreo, nothing is wrong with that, I just didn't know who you were asking pics from, so when you said "thread starter", I just said, "oh", like, "oh, okay". No biggy, I wasn't trying to start anything, cool?
rolling, what a cutie!!!
When we went to FLA, we stopped at an lfs in Melbourne, and they had the tiniest Picassos. They were sooooooooooooooo little, not much more than an inch. I keep wondering how they survive being caught and shipped, at such a small size. But goodness were they cute!! Your fish is fine, he's happy.

What other fish do you have in with him?............................Peace

If he is rubbing the rock flashing his underside, something is irratating his skin which usually means parasites or water parameters are not in check.

Well since trigger fish aren't to aggressive, try getting like a fox face or a yellow tang. Don't get angels if you tank is too cloudy.

My hum hum is probably the nicest fish I have. Everone says how mean yellow tangs are but evertime Time I have added a new fish the tang alwasy protects it from the bluehead wrase that is the bully of my tank.
