Can I put a Humu Humu in the same tank with the Porcupine Puffer? This website says they are semi-aggressive.

yes, should be fine, although I would try to make sure the trigger is the same size or smaller than the puffer.

I had the same situation, My puffer was larger than the trigger. The puffer was in the display tank first. I had the trigger and a Maculosous angel in QT together. Once I put them in with the puffer, believe it or not, my damsel went after the angel. The puffer didnt bother anyone. Once I removed the damsel, the angel went after the puffer. Now, though, the puffer, trigger and angel have been living happy together. I agree, keep the trigger on the small side

Same 2 fish that i have in one of my tanks, they are fine together. IMO they are the 2 coolest fish you can get. so much personality!!

thanks ya'll! I haven't yet started my saltwater, but I am heavily researching what to put in it. I want beautiful fish, but of course I want them all to get along. I have one semi-aggressive, and one peaceful freshwater tank, and I want my saltwater to be somewhat aggressive (not kill each other). They're so entertaining! If ya'll have any more ideas on what else to put into a 55 gallon, please let me know. Again, I'm the novice here and I'm open to suggestions!!:)

Yeah, definately move them up to larger surroundings. I feel for my puffer whenever he gets up to speed, he needs to slow down or risk crashing into the side wall. People think a 72 bow is large, it isnt...it's just a 55 that has a bowed front giving it, I guess a bit more room. Oh, what I'd do for a 220 right now.
