Do you guys believe how fast this monster is intensifying? Its currently a Cat 4 with 150 MPH winds. This thing may be worse than Katrina.

It might not be going our way but we're still getting some of the weather from it already today (actually was really nice out when it wasn't raining..breezy, cooler).
Hope you all in the gulf stay safe!
I just looked at Hanna's projected path and it seems to be pointed more towards south Florida again. I think this season's gonna be a busy one!

Stay safe everyone. This one does look like a monster. New Orleans was evacuating as of the 10PM news tonight. Traffic was backed up. Keep safe.

It was talking about Cat 5 when I saw it. It is looking to hit hard. Please be safe all. It looks to be hitting Arkansas too. You will all be in my prayers. Please be safe. Take cover, evacuate if need be. Your place only contains stuff. That can be replaced. Keep your families safe.

How's Scuba-doo and the rest of you guys in LA?
Nevermind the scubadoo comment, I thought he lived in LA because of the "Geaux NO Saints"...I see you're actually in AZ.
I know we have people down there. Be safe, guys.

The are calling for the bad side to hit us the side that packs more punch and the likely hood of tornadic activity. Thats all we need after the start of the year all the rivers are still high around here because they are slowly lowering the resivors up stream to normal levels.
I hope everyone in the strike zone stays safe and gets out of the way of this monster!!

Between being at or below sea level on a coast that is prone to hurricanes. The issue with houses sinking because of the high peat content in the soil (I think that was the reason) and the loss of natural coastal barriers I think they really need to take a long hard look at how and where they allow rebuilding.
