If your in it like me you better start thinking of either a good battery back-up inverter system or a nice small generator with plenty of fuel on hand. This could be a bigun! BE prepared. Don't forget about the power outage until it's to late. I hate to see peoples tanks die off. good luck and maybe we'll get lucky and it will miss us.

Offshore and all others. Living in Florida I have been through my share of these things and a couple of big ones at that. If there is any chance you are going to get it start buying now and do not wait. Camplacency will get you no where and people will only take advantage of the fact you waited to the last minute. I hope this one goes back out to sea because it is looking like andrew and opal all rolled into one. I wish you all the best.

I do have a generator and a battery back up system. But for you that don't. I called Home depot and they have had 3 truck loads of generators sell out today. People are lined up for the next truck load as I type. You better get it now if you can. I live on the water here in Va. 105' from it. I just hope it slows down. Way down.
