Doesnt really matter which you get first, just MAKE SURE that you have the lighting and filtration to handle an anemone.
My clowns (2 of them now) are doing just fine without an anemone to call home. They have found a nice cave looking area of my tank that they have claimed for their home now.
So no, they dont need one, and I dont believe it matters which one comes first the clown or the anemone.
Do you even have the lighting required for an anemone? I think you should do some serious research before going into a LFS where they may try to sell you one regardless of your setup.

I have no idea what a tudde bulb is! What is the lights wattage? How many bulbs do you have, how long are the bulbs, anything at all would help a little to determine it's suitability.
Anemones require high lighting, like almost metal halide type of lighting, though Ive seen them do okay under some PC's with regular food feedings, but not for any great length of time.
So how many watts is this tudde bulb and what exactly is a tudde bulb?

I'm thinking he means TUBE lighting! :) But yes, I agree lites should be suitable to keep an anenome. Maybe your LFS can show you some examples and different types of lighting for your tank before you buy the anenome! :happyfish
have fun researching

Not even close to enough light, 17w is only about half a watt per gallon. Ok for fish but if you plan on having an anenome then you need 5 to 6 watts per gallon which equalls about 180w

Hey Digilio
I would highly recomend that you purchase a good book about saltwater fish tanks and read it before you go out and make any purchases.
