Do Hydor Flo Rotating Deflector really work??? Do they make a wave like action?

yes they do the work best with a maxijet 1200 though

I had one for years and it finally got worn out and stop rotating. It added better flow then the staright MJ. I thought it was a litte bulky for my tank. In a bigger tank it would be less noticeable (I have a 46g) If you have MJ it is a good way to get better flow from it..for the $$$

it worked, but i thought it took away from the flow a bit in my opinion on my Maxi 1200

I would agree with this, I no longer use mine.

Is there any type of powerhead add-on or powerhead that is self-rotating to make the water come from different directions, thats not too big and is worth getting?
