what do you think about the hydor flo deflector? Especially in a 24g aquapod?

its good. the problem with it though is it will actually decrease the flow of ur powerhead.

Yup decrease in actual flow, cannot say what percentage, but works very well at moving the water around in different directions. I really like mine.

I split the output of the return pump in my biocube 29 with some loc-line and put a Hydor Flo on one side, that way the total flow isn't cut down as much. It still works fine, just be prepared to pull it out occasionally and clean it (they snap apart, and back together easily) because they do get jammed.

yeah, they are good for moving the flow around. mj900 works great in a 12g nano. also do clean it from time to time. snails like to hang inside and will stick the rotation. when i go away on vacation, i take it off just in case.

korali #2 or #3 pump imo will work just as good
