What would be the best Hydro Koralia pump for a 55gal? The 1 or the 2

2 would be the best or even the three....i have a 1 in my 20g....i love it!!!

i would get the highest you possibly can afford, with the ability to control flow you will have plenty of reserve for any occasion/need.

I have the number 4 (1200 gph) in my 47 gallon tall....the stream is very broad so it's not concentrated like the maxijets.

I have 2 #4 in my 75
I would say get atleast a #3 for a 55g
I guess it all depends on what you are keeping as well.

i agree with 05xrunner...at least 2 # 3's. i also have 2#4's in my 75 and i love them.

I made the mistake of buying 2 #1's. Definetly not enough!! Go with 2 3's, or a 2 and a 3.

I got one of the #1's running. I ordered two of them, im going to see if i can send the othere one back and pay the difference for a #3
