My friend has a 150 tank he's breaking down and he gave me some live rock cuz I'm starting up my 20 and 10 back up. He had these hydroid looking things on his glass that then turned into tiny floating jellyfish that then turned into these stalked jellyfish. I don't have anything in my tank other than live sand and saltwater so I have no problem taking the live rock back out and soaking them in fresh water or something to get rid of these buggers but I would like the know the best way to kill them. I rinsed them in fresh water before putting them in my tank. No light or food (since there's nothing else in my tank) for 2 weeks now but they're still there. I don't want those jellies to infest my tank, they were all over his, it was hard to tell in such a big tank but they can easily wreak havoc in my tiny ones. I remember having a tiny starfish infestation, thousands in my 20 and having to get a harlequinn shrimp to eat them all. Here's some pics, hope they help, thanks!
