Do you have anyone looking after your fish? Have them crush up some FRESH, yes fresh, garlic and add the juices to the fish's food. It will boost the fish's immune system and might hold it off until Sunday. You can keep some small pieces of rock in the tank durring hypo. The bacteria will not die. As long as the rock is not covered in coraline and full of life then some small, bare, pieces will be fine in there. Let us know how things go!

It is Sunday and he is hanging tough. I just put a couple of bare rocks in for him to hide behind and a powerhead all he seems to want to do is swim into the flow of a powerhead. I checked and there is no nitrites and no ammonia so im gonna get him tonight and start lowering the salt. Should i break it down slowly to lower the salt. I'm not sure how fast i can go so i'll prob. just take it easy and do it slow.
