How long have you been treating with copper? Have you completed that treatment?

Yes, you can switch to hypo without a problem. Healthy for your fish as well. What copper are you using? And are your fish?

Ok, I've been reading these posts and my question is this if parasites wont breed in hypo then why not just keep your tank at 09 all the time if you dont have live rock or inverts? :notsure:

Because these are marine fish, not brackish fish. We can go to moon for a short period of time without any ill effects...but that doesn't mean we can live there.

Well, you can continue with the copper, if you wish...you need to use the Seachem copper test kit to ensure that therapeutic levels of copper are maintained. Are you doing that? .4-.5 ppm.
