today has been the most sad and depressing day of my saltwater hobby life. my most beloved fish, my flame hawkfish,
went carpet surfing. i felt my heart drop into my stomach when i found my favorite fish all dried up on the floor. i have never in my live loved a fish as much as i did to that flame hawk.
i feel like there is a huge piece missing
WHYYYYY?!?!

The eggcrate hasn't decreased my light enough to affect my corals so far, in fact since I added my zoa frags they have more then doubled in size in just a few weeks and the egg crate has always been there. Might be worth a shot for you if you're losing fish like that.

Thats how I felt with my clarki clown I had him 5 years got him when he was the size of a dime and he was 3 inches when he caught a mysterious disease and died. I called him trooper b/c He was my 1st fish and survived every screw up I made from the beginning I once accidently poured the whole thing of red slime in the tank everything died and he was still there happy as could be
